On April 25, 2022, the municipal council in Timrå decided to adopt the detailed plan for Torsboda industriområde 1:2 and others. The decision was appealed but has now gained legal force.

The purpose of Torsboda Syd is to create conditions for industrial activities in accordance with Timrå municipality's comprehensive plan.
