Access to the right skills is crucial for companies' ability to grow and be competitive. In Västernorrland, we have a strong industrial tradition and a habit of managing major structural changes. Coordination, management and pooling of efforts and resources is something that local growth policy prioritizes.

There are good conditions for creating a strong supply of skills for new establishments. Within 30 minutes of the site you can reach three cities and a university. If we extend the range to 90 minutes, there are as many as nine municipalities and two campuses.

In the SAM project, several public actors work together to attract skills, talents and workers from all over the world.
