Logging in the Torsboda South area has been carried out and is largely complete.

In connection with the felling, a temporary forest road has been constructed. After felling, this will also serve as an additional emergency road during future construction projects. There are no plans to make this a permanent access road to the area.

In order to prepare Torsboda Nord for sale, we are also felling there. The felling notification and consultation notification were submitted to the Swedish Forest Agency and the County Administrative Board in January 2024. A contractor has been procured for the assignment, which includes felling and transporting of sprouts within and adjacent to the Torsboda Nord planning area. We have carried out additional investigations regarding natural values as requested by the County Administrative Board. The goal is to harvest a larger part of the area during 2024. The work started in September and is expected to be fully completed by March 2025.

A small area in the North area near the E4 highway has already been harvested. The purpose of this felling is work on the temporary traffic junction and our information point.
