Mittsverige Vatten och Avfall is building a wastewater treatment plant in Söråker and expanding the pipeline network to supply the industrial park, the Midlanda area and a growing Söråker with improved drinking water and sewage.
Thanks to the construction, Söråker will have a safer redundant water supply, a back-up, in case of problems with the water supply.
In the spring of 2024, phase one of the work to lay pipes to Torsboda Industrial Park began. There will be pipes for water, sewage and industrial water to the factories' processes. Pipes will be laid under both the railway and the E4.
More information is available on the MittSverige Vatten och avfall website.
