Water for the industrial park underway

This spring, work will begin on laying water pipes to Torsboda Industrial Park. Pipes for water, sewage and industrial water for the factories' processes will be laid.

Industrial water is managed by Timrå Invest, whose subsidiary Timrå Industrivatten AB develops and manages the supply of industrial water to the Söråker industrial area and the industrial park in Torsboda. The water is pumped from an industrial water plant at Norrån in Söråker. It will be rebuilt to be able to deliver larger amounts of water. Read more here.

- We are developing delivery capacity for existing and future customers in the area and ensuring high operational reliability," says Christian Söderberg, CEO of Torsboda Industrial Park AB.

In cooperation with Peab, MittSverige Vatten och avfall is building pipes for industrial water and is also responsible for the construction of water and sewage to Torsboda Industrial Park. They have procured contractors and during the year pipes will be laid under both the railway and the E4.

- Step by step, Torsboda Industrial Park is becoming ready for future establishments. "There is still a lot to do, but we are making steady progress," says Christian Söderberg.
