Torsboda Industrial Park can now proceed with the sale of land at Torsboda Nord. After the Swedish Transport Administration has withdrawn its appeal against the local plan, the area is now designated as industrial land.
- We can now continue to work on the development and sale of the land on the north side of the E4. A detailed plan is a necessary step for this, so we are now intensifying our work," says Christian Söderberg, CEO of Torsboda Industrial Park.
Now that the municipalities of Timrå and Sundsvall have decided to pay for the permanent interchange on the E4, which will ensure a good traffic solution both to and from the industrial park, the Swedish Transport Administration has withdrawn its earlier appeal against the zoning plan. The Land and Environment Court dismissed the case on February 7 and the decision will enter into force on February 29.
- We are now continuing our sales processes and dialogues with potential customers. My assessment is that within a couple of years we can present one or more establishments at Torsboda Nord," says Christian Söderberg.
During the construction of the first factory on the site, a temporary traffic interchange will be built. This will be paid for by the establishing companies.
