To make the land on the north side of the E4 ready for sale, Torsboda Industrial Park is now felling forest at Torsboda Nord.
Olof Nyberg is the operational manager at Torsboda Industrial Park and works to coordinate the infrastructure work being done to develop the industrial park.
- "The felling work at Nord will start with clearing undergrowth and small trees and then move on to felling," says Olof Nyberg. The felling is expected to be completed by the end of March, but weather and snow conditions may affect the schedule.
Interest in the North
The felling at Torsboda Nord is part of the work to make the area ready for sale. Torsboda Industrial Park's mission is to attract companies that contribute to green transition and provide many jobs per square meter and megawatt. Business developer Cain Dotson says that several companies have shown interest in Torsboda.
- "Having land that is as ready as possible for developers is of course a competitive advantage, so it's good that felling is now underway," says Cain Dotson. "It takes us one step closer to a fully developed industrial park, which we aim to be by 2033.
